Fresh new features on Wixi!

admin | October 30th, 2007 | | Beta, New Features |

Today we are happy to announce new features on Wixi! Let’s see what’s hot now:

Wixi Golden BookGolden Book:
This is new, and you’re going to love it! It really is addictive :)
You like the Wixi of another user, tell him by writing a short message on his Golden Book, that other users can see and also comment!
Stay in closer touch with your friends and family, leave messages on their Wixi and come back to check when other users have left a message for you!

Most Popular Wixis
Most popular Wixis:
Look at your dashboard (the area at the bottom of your desktop), there is a new tab called “Most popular Wixis“.
It features the list of wixi users who have the most media shared with other users, in one word, they put the most popular and interesting content on the Wixi network.

Improved search:
We have improved search result accuracy and changed the search feature in the sidebar. Searching files is also more direct now, just type type what you are looking for, click on the magnify icon (or press enter) and the Search Files window will show you results directly from all Wixi.

And of course, we have also fixed several bugs that you helped us detect through the reports you made by feedback or in the forum!

Seb,
Wixi Blog Admin

The content I have uploaded to my site is not coming up in the search engine. Is there a particular naming convention I should use or do the files need to be on the desktop and not layered in folders?

Thanks in advance! Looking forward to becoming a paying member as soon as you open up.

Fred
